When I sit down to create your digital graphic download each month, I ask myself "What would they want to see everyday?" What would be motivating or encouraging? What truth do we all need to remember? Since I literally stare at my computer everyday, all day...I want to enjoy my desktop, as Im sure you do to. Heading into August the phrase that kept popping into my head for this month was "new life".  After thinking about it for a while, and what would bring new life everyday, Lamentations 3:22-23 came to mind. I hope you are reminded each day this month of the new life that we have been given. Each day is a gift, full of new mercies that never run out! Even if it's a 100 degrees outside.

Over the last couple weeks I was finding myself looking towards tomorrow, and the next week, and the week after that... more than I should. Planning out work projects, scheduling new timelines, and of course looking forward to our summer travel plans. It seemed like I was drifting into the future and skipping over the present.
    My hope is that July's free screen download will encourage you to take a deep breath, and press into whatever is "your present" (instead of glazing over it)...and enjoy it. After all, you will never have that moment again.

It's JUNE - and I am so excited! The sun doesn't go down until 9 (which means staying up/out later), you can go swimming everyday, and grilling out in the backyard becomes a weekly activity! Im Looking forward to all that this summer has, and all that this summer can be. New design projects are rolling in, keeping me on my toes - the "Summer Blooms" card sets have almost sold out, and there is a bit of traveling ahead - these are the good days!

It's time to explore - so get out there and make some memories!

HELLO APRIL, and HELLO Spring! Well...Instead of a graphic calendar for you to download this month, I thought...why not some truth? Instead of staring at numbers in tiny rows dictating your productivity and schedule...why not stare at some truth? Instead of looking at the days passed by and the days to come...why not look at some truth?

The truth is in fact that you and I are free. Free of guilt, fear, mistakes (past, present and future), anger, hopelessness, disappointment, confusion, lust, lying, comparison, loneliness, and on and on and on...and even free of death. The Word says, "So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has FREED you from the power of sin that leads to death."  - Romans 8:1-2

"If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved....For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” - Romans 10:9-13

So as we celebrate all that this month has—Spring with the lovely weather changes and colors, a day off of work for Good Friday, and Easter Sunday with friends, family and lots of colored eggs— let's also celebrate the freedom we have because of the blood, sweat, and tears that were so graciously poured out over our lives to bring us into freedom that we don't deserve and can not arrive at on our own. Thank you Jesus that you rose from the dead on the 3rd day to set me free. Where will you find more freedom this month by His grace?
